Not much is happening right now. I have survived my second week teaching nursery and I love it. Matt will be starting a new semester at ASU in a week and half. This will be his last year. Finally!! Yesterday was my anniversary at work, 7 years! I can't believe that I have been working for Wells Fargo for that long. Time sure does fly.
I have befriended a new member in my ward, she was just baptized a couple weeks ago. Her and her daughter live in my apartment complex and so last night I invited them over for dinner. We hit off and so did the kids. My husband kinda grilled her on a few questions to help her understand the gospel a little bit better. She was impressed and said that it made her think a little bit harder and more indepth to the basics that she was taught by the missionaries. She has really taken to the gospel like a sponge soaking up water. She loves it and has a testimony. This is what she has been looking for for a long time. I'm glad that she has made the decision to become a member. We have a wonderful ward that has welcomed her and her daughter with open arms.
I guess that is all that I have for now. I will have more this weekend b/c it is our ward swim party. More to come with that.

Happy Anniversary to Us
Yesterday Matt and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe that it's been 5 years! Time sure does fly. Last night we celebrate by going out to dinner, nothing fancy, just enjoying each other's company. We wanted to try a new pizza place in downtown Phoenix called Pizzeria Bianco. Matt read that this was rate one of the tope 5 pizza places in the nation. So we get there at opening time, 5pm, and there is a line outside. So we get in line and the hostess said that there was a 3 1/2 hour wait. 3 1/2 hours!!! I couldn't believe it, b/c we got there at opening time.
So we decided that we didn't want to wait the 3 1/2 hours to eat, so we went to Bobby Q. This restaurant is off the I-17 and Dunlap. We get there and were seated right away. Just the way I like it. Matt was telling me as were driving there that they have the best cornbread that he has ever tasted. I have to agree it was really good cornbread. I had the grilled shrimp w/ chimichuri pesto w/ mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Very delicious! Matt had the prim rib w/ mashed potatoes and sweet corn. Within 10 mins of ordering we had our dinner, talk about fast service. I also order the peach cobbler to go.
We came home and took Scott, my brother Chris and his wife Carree out for Nielson frozen custard. They were babysitting Scott for us. We had fun hanging out with them and talking about just about anything.
I love being married to Matt, he is a wonderful husband and father. He may forget to do things b/c he is busy trying to finish school. He is not a romantic but when does surprise me it means a lot. So Happy Anniversary to Us!

New Calling
I totally forgot to let you all know that I have a new calling in my ward. I have been called as a nursery teacher. This will be interesting. I've taught primary before but never been in nursery. So pray for me as I enter the world of toddlers for 2 hours each Sunday, for at least the next 6 months. Our bishopric has decided not to have anyone in there for more than a year or else they get left out of things. I will keep you all posted.

Movie Weekend Bonanza
I would've posted this yesterday but I was having issues with my computer. Over the weekend we rented several movies and watched them all. I will list them and rate them with a 5 star rating the highest.
August Rush - 5 Stars (Intense, and heartwarming movie)
The Other Boleyn Girl - 4 Stars (I love history and this just brought it to life.)
Alvin and the Chipmunks - 4 1/2 Stars (this one was mainly for Scott to watch, but it was very entertaining.)
Ratatouille - 4 Stars (this was also for Scott. Disney never ceases to amaze me with the things that they come up with.)
Becoming Jane - 5 Stars (I aboslutely Loved It!! This movie is for anyone that loves the Jane Austen books.)
Gramma's Boy - 4 Stars (this was a funny movie but not for an LDS audience. I didn't realize it until one scene.)
The Great Debators - 5 Stars (Excellent movie!)
I have never watched this many movies in the course of 2 1/2 days.

Muffins Anyone?
Tonight I was in a baking mood. So I pulled out a few of my muffin mixes and proceeded to bake. We won't be able to eat them all so I will be taking most of them to work to share with my co-workers. So I thought that I would share with you all how they turned out.

Don't they look YUMMY!!!

4th of July Weekend
On Friday night we went to my friend Joyce's house for a BBQ and we had a lot of fun. We especially had fun taking pictures with and of her new little baby girl Charlotte. Scott really took to her. He always wanted to hold her, and I think that she liked him as well.We really enjoy our friends company and try to see them as often as we can. Then on Saturday Matt and Scott headed up to Roosevelt Lake with Matt's brother Rick and his family. Unfortunately I was not feeling too good.

Pre-4th of July Festivities
Okay so we have a fun filled weekend ahead. Tonight my friend Joyce and her husband Daniel have invited us to their house for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks and enjoy one another's company. We may end playing some games as well. Next on our list is the Lake. Matt's brother Rick has invited us to join them on their boat tomorrow. It's been a while since I've been to the lake so it will be an adventure with a 4 year. I'll keep you all posted. Pictures will soon follow. Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July and a safe weekend.
