Family Pictures

On April 27th, we had new family pictures taken. This was combo session, family, maternity and baptism for Scott. I had been looking around for a photographer that would fit our budget that had an opening. I have friends that are photographers but wanted to go with someone different. I loved how these pictures turned out! I have created a slideshow of some of my favorites for you to view.

New Baby Bump Picture

It's time for another bump comparison!

This is 27 weeks.

This is 30 weeks! I totally popped out more in a 3 week time span than I did in a 5 week span!

We are getting to the end!! 9 more weeks to go! The room is almost done being painted thanks to my awesome husband! I will have pictures of that soon. I have started a small makeover on an old dresser and will get that finished over the Memorial weekend, when I have more time.

Melaleuca Testimonial

As some of you may know or don't know, my husband and I have signed up with Melaleuca to be distributors as a small side venture for extra income. I haven't been as active promoting as I should have because I wanted to be sure that we had tried as much of the products before sharing. Well it's now April and we have been using the products since August and really love them! In fact they are really good products that are safe and environmentally friendly. Okay now here's my personal testimonial.

A few nights ago my son had a bloody nose and ended up getting his sheets, pillow and comforter with blood. Ugh!! As we all know blood is not easy to remove and usually will leave a residual stain even after washing and using a spot treatment. I have been using Melaleuca's Prespot treatment spray for regular foods stains and it does a good job getting those out. So I thought well now is a good time to test to see if it will get blood out. I saturated everwhere that had a blood stain, threw it into the wash on a presoak cycle and let it do its thing. After the wash cycle was over I inspected every inch of the sheets and didn't find one trace of blood!! Not one!! I couldn't believe it I was super excited about that! Now my son has stainfree sheets and pillow!

This product by far has exceed my expectations! I have thrown on my Shout spray and will use this spray from now on!

** Just as a side note the picture above is the concetrate bottle, you mix it in a spray bottle with water (picture below).**

This is the spray bottle you use to mix with.

If you want to learn more about these amazing products send me an email and I would be more than happy to share more!!

Here I am at 22 weeks.

It's a . . . .

On tues of this week, 2/21/12, we found out what we are having. I have been very anxious for this appointment to see if our first instinct was right when we found out we were going to have another baby. During the appointment Dr Tutt first took the babies measurements to make sure everything is good. Baby is measuring small but I'm measuring right on track at 19 weeks, so no need for concern there, Scott was small baby too. Well here is a picture of the baby's face and arm.

Once he was done taking measurements he went on to poke around to see if we could see what this baby is. Here is the picture that we got, it's kind of an aerial view.

At first I had no idea what I was looking at. So the dr turned the picture vertial and there I saw it! Can you see? The plus sign is pointing just below it. No, can't see it yet. Here I will label what you are looking at below.

If you haven't already guessed, I hope the color of the body parts helps. 3 lines as they call it, or in our terms a Girl! We didn't see anything that would suggest a boy and the dr is pretty confident that it is a girl. He will do another ultrasound at the next appointment to confirm this one. So our first instinct was right! I knew that Scott would be a boy and knew that this was my long awaited girl! We are very excited, well I'm excited Matt is a little nervous to raise a girl but he will do just fine.
Finally another girl for he Sovereign Family, this would make granddaughter #4. There are currently 9 boys and 3 girls. Lucky us! On the Elsberry side this will be granddaughter #3. There are currently 4 boys and 2 girls.

I have started shopping already and have found some pretty cute things. Next up to paint the room that will become the nursery and order the furniture!
